What is Internet?

Internet, sometimes just a "net", is a global system of computer networks - a network of networks that enable users at any one computer, if they have permission to get information from another computer (and sometimes speak directly to the computers of other users) . It was developed by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) from the Government of the United States in 1969 and was first known as the Arpanet. The original objective of establishing a network that would allow users of computers in university research to be able to "talk" computer search of other universities.
